Who we are

Medavida provides software for independent medical practices, pharmacies, and their patients. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect through the Medavida platform, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly (account details, contact information, clinical and payment data entered into the platform), information collected automatically as you use the service (device, log, and usage data), and information from third parties (identity verification services, credentialing sources, and payment processors).

How we use information

We use information to operate and improve the platform, to provide clinical, scheduling, ordering, and payment features, to verify providers and pharmacies, to communicate with you, and to comply with legal obligations, including HIPAA where applicable.

Protected health information

Where Medavida acts as a business associate to a covered entity, we handle protected health information under a Business Associate Agreement. Uses and disclosures of PHI are limited to what that agreement and applicable law permit.

How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, payments, communications), with your providers and pharmacies when you use their services on Medavida, and where required by law.

Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal requirements (including medical-record retention laws), and resolve disputes.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your information, and to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
